insecure? who me?

oh yeah, big time. but not so insecure as to think i have nothing to contribute to a new writing group, started by none other than king of the blogfests, Alex J. Cavanaugh.

To share and encourage. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance. It’s a safe haven for insecure writers of all kinds!

Posts go up the first Wednesday of every month. the first posting day is Wed., Sept. 7. Alex says, "Let’s rock the neurotic writing world!"

part of me thinks i'm insane for signing up. i'll be flying out of Arizona that day. even posting once a month seems like too much because i'll be settling into a new life in Montana.

but here i am, the one who talks about encouraging writers, so how can i pass this one up? as i said on Alex's blog, i'll give it a go. if it doesn't work out time-wise, i can always bow out gracefully. and i might even surprise myself.
