there are probably as many reasons to write as there are writers.
all i know is that if i don't tell a story for me alone, i'll never tell the story that touches anyone else. if i don't write the story i love, no one else will love it. that's just the way i am.

I agree. So much of what we write comes from ourselves, so if we write for anyone else, it's just not going to have the passion that makes it great. If that makes any sense. :)
