indie authors raising money for Japan
when i hear about a natural disaster, especially one as devastating as the one in Japan, i always wonder, "What can i do? how can i help?" my friend Kristie Cook came up with something tangible, a way to actually raise money for Red Cross International.
she's getting together indie and self-published authors to donate goods and services for auction. what a great idea. you can read more here: Indie Author's Relief Fund. if you know someone who would like to help with a donation, please post a comment on the IARF blog.
there are already 4 items up for auction:
-- from Kristie Cook - a 10 page critique + character name in a future book or novella
- from E. J. Stevens, a Spirit Storm totebag full of goodies
-- from Lisa J. Yarde - signed copies of her book On Falcon's Wings, and her new release, Sultana
-- from me - a signed copy of Eldala
you can bid for the items in the comment section under each item. bids for these 4 items end at 11:59 PM, EST on Sunday, March 20. put in your bid and help raise some money for the Red Cross
