the sign of a good story...

...is that i care about the characters as much as my own. Kristie Cook has done just that with her characters in Promise. from the very first page, the story has compelled me to keep reading. i think i lost sleep over Alexis and Tristan last night.

i'm sure i'll finish today and then i'll be ready for the sequel, which doesn't come out until Fall 2010.

sigh.
