i've been using my camera more, taking pictures of things that make me smile. right now it's all i can do for myself. anything else is too much effort. so here are more of the things that make me smile. maybe one of them will make you smile, or inspire you in some way.

---notes on the photos - i love clouds and take pictures of them at every opportunity. the flowers are from pots i purchased a couple of weeks ago - fuscia blooms, pink baby's breath with petunias and dianthus, and a moss rose. the sunset is the view from my new front yard. (we hope to be in the new house in a few weeks.) the trees are on the back of our property. i thought the last one looked kind of mysterious.

Beautiful pictures - the two tree pictures are lovely. For some reason I can never make the colours look good on my camera. Even if someone else is stood next to me taking the exact same photo, theirs will look so much better.

Anyhoo, I was sitting on my deck last week and happened to look up. I love clouds too. And there hovering over me was the most breathtaking cloud I'd ever seen. White, thick, white, did I mention white? And fat. And looking like an ice-cream on steroids. Delicious. I didn't take a picture. Dang!
