Oh, I love the Peanuts! Have been writing a column in a patchwork magazine for more than 10 years by now, and I really would not like to imagine how terrifying it must be to write the first sentence of a whole book....
I'll have to check out the male POV post as I am including 2 male POVs and 2 female POVs in my novel.
I particularly liked the 22 rules from Pixar.
