a walk in the garden

yesterday i finally had a chance to take pictures of the flowers i planted back in April. the bright orange ones on a single stalk are California poppies. the other orange ones growing in clusters, and the pretty pink ones growing in clusters -- i have no idea. i threw away the package the seed mix came in. the bright pink ones with the black centers are Drummond's Phlox. and i know i have regular red poppies. all the others are a mystery.

It's really colorful and pretty. The Phlox have such a nice scent.
:-) Lots poppies. Can't make out the cream colored/white ones.

Don't you love watching the butterflies and hummingbirds flit around it?

Have a great week!

Flowers and gardens, the smell of earth and sweetness, dirt, and grass-- it fills me with peace. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful pictures. It almost makes me want to sort out my own garden. So far, though, my track record with plants is not good.
