A-Z - Queen of Everything

Mary Englebreit -- another person who collects quotes. maybe that's one reason i love Mary's work so much. and the pictures might have something to do with it. i couldn't do a month of quotes without including some of hers.

"Walk towards the sunshine, and the shadows will fall behind you."

"Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles...it empties today of it's strength. "

"Happiness must be grown in one's own garden. "

"Bloom Where You're Planted"

"Every calling is great when greatly pursued."

"If you don't like something, change it; if you can't change it, change the way you think about it. "

"Friendship needs no reason!"

"Life is just a chair of bowlies"

"One loses many laughs by not laughing at oneself. "

"So many people come into our lives.. But there are those precious few who touch our hearts so deeply we will never be the same."

"Time flies whether you are having fun or not."

"A constant FRIEND is a thing rare and hard to find."

"Friend is a gift you give yourself."

"So many people come into our lives and then leave the way they came. But there are those precious few who touch our hearts so deeply we will never be the same."

"A friend is what the heart needs all the time."

"Ah! How good it feels the hand of an old friend."

My favourite of these:

"So many people come into our lives and then leave the way they came. But there are those precious few who touch our hearts so deeply we will never be the same."

I use to subscribe to her magazine Home Companion and every month a new paper doll was inserted. My daughter loved those dolls.
