i was reading through articles i'd saved on my computer (ok, i was putting off doing housework), back from when i first started writing in 2006. i came across this one from Yarnharlot.com -- Easy as Pie. whether you're a writer or not, you might enjoy Stepanie's take on this profession/hobby/calling/obsession we love to hate.

Yup - that quote is just about perfect!
You never know how easy/hard a job is until you try to accomplish it. Writing, painting, singing . . blogging :) Anything creative takes work to do well. Even if the end result looks "easy".
