"Friends for the Journey" Blog... Encouragement

Every one of us in on a journey called life. If we’re fortunate, we find friends along the way who can help us with their words of encouragement, something to laugh over, or a shoulder to cry on. Some friends stay with us for our whole lives, but often, they are with us for only part of the journey. I have friends like these in my life – some I see in person, and some I know via the internet. I’ve found several of them through my blog. As a blogger, you probably have as well.

With that in mind, I wanted to publicly acknowledge the bloggers who have helped me on this journey with my "Friends for the Journey" Blog Encouragement.

Now, as you can see, this isn't an award (not that there's anything wrong with blog awards, but don't you feel like you have to do something to earn them?). You can post this on your blog without having to do anything. It's absolutely free.

However, if you want to pass it onto other bloggers, please let them know it started here at beautiful chaos.

the original recipients are:
-- Alex J. Cavanaugh - Alex leaves very encouraging comments on my blog. I always appreciate what he has to say.

-- February Grace - When you read Bru's posts, you'll always find something encouraging, even if it's just reading about the courage she shows as she faces life with a very discouraging genetic condition. Bru is a precious soul and I'm privileged to call her my blogging friend.

-- KM Wilsher - I met KM through my local writer's group. She always has a smile or word of encouragement for the other people in our group. I wish I could see her more often.

-- Kris Tualla - I met Kris at a local writer's conference. She's taking the Indie Author thing to a whole new level and it's encouraging to me to see someone so passionate about finding another way to get your stories out to the public. Besides that, being of Norwegian descent, it's nice to see a romance writer focusing on Norway instead of Scotland (not that men in kilts aren't great, but we're talking land of the Vikings here...).

This post is getting long, but I also want to mention blogging friends like Christine Danek, Donna Hole, Olivia J. Herrell, Jemi FrasierAbby Annis, and Nikole Hahn. You're all great blogging friends and I'm glad to be getting to you know you.

I look forward to all the new blogging friends I'll be getting to know as I continue this crazy journey called writing.

Thanks so much for the mention - you're such a sweetie! This is a lovely award - and you're so right. This journey would be incredibly difficult without supportive friends ... like you! :)

This is awesome Michelle. Thank you so much.

OK now I really have to get that review written. I'll post both in the next week sometime.

So, why the change in writing format?

I've found more encouragement in my writing through the blog community than any classes, teachers, or mentors. I can totally relate. Happy dance for you and all your blogging buddies!

I'm now following your blog, by the way. :)

Oh my goodness, Michelle, you've just made me cry. Thank you so much for your kind words and I am so sorry it took me so long to get to read this- the last eye surgery recovery has been a lot more of a challenge than we were expecting.

What a joy to come back as I'm healing and find such encouraging words on one of the hardest nights of my life (will explain later)

Thank you so very, very much. Looking forward to putting up the banner- and passing it on when I can.

xoxo- I am so lucky to have you as a friend too, dear lady.

hugs
